Season’s Greetings from Viva

Early Seasons Greetings!  It’s time to wrap up the year and the decade and look forward to a fantastic warm summer in what I like to refer to as my paradise (the Pohutukawa Coast).

2019 has gone by fast…. There have been a few highlights for Viva throughout the year. I have teamed up with other local professionals to offer talks, spinal screenings and workshops to our local community.  I love to share my knowledge on health and wellbeing-  as we all learn through gaining knowledge.
The Wednesday Walking group has also been a highlight and while we have a small group of regulars, we walk ‘n ‘ talk at the same time getting exercise and gaining fitness. It was a chance meeting with one of our walkers that I got to move into my new home/ office.

In October the Viva office moved down to 190 Seventh View Avenue and we are right next door to the new Mitre 10 store.  It’s working out really well here and I’m happy to say that early in the new year I will also be open on Tuesday evenings.

For the few weeks of December before Christmas I will have a Santa basket at Viva to collect unwrapped presents to donate to Women’s Refuge NZ. Next time you come for an adjustment visit I’d love it if you could add something to the basket that we will be donating prior to Christmas.  Gifts for children of all ages and even personal care gifts for the Mums would be most appreciated.  It’s a challenging time of the year for a lot of families and Refuge is very busy throughout this time. Let’s show some support if we are able to.

If you’re wanting to get in for a pre Xmas tune up book ahead now by going online via our website vivachiro.co.nz.  I’m taking a break for a couple of weeks over Christmas – the last day will be Monday 23 December and then I’m back again on Monday 6 January.  For any emergency visits over this time contact me on 09 390 0800.

It has been a pleasure to take care of you and your family’s spinal health throughout the year.

Have a safe and happy Christmas with your family and a wonderful New Year.
